About Delta Training

Delta Training is a trading name operated by Aidan, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. We run in-person internet safety workshops for adults and organisations.

Public sessions: booking and tickets

Public session tickets are sold through Eventbrite. By purchasing a ticket you also agree to Eventbrite's Terms of Service. Payment is handled entirely by Eventbrite and is subject to their refund policy.

Sessions are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Delta Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session if circumstances require it. Where a session is cancelled by us, all ticket holders will be notified via Eventbrite and are entitled to a full refund through Eventbrite.

If you are unable to attend a session you have booked, please refer to Eventbrite's refund policy. Tickets are non-transferable unless Eventbrite permits it.

Organisation bookings

For organisations booking private sessions, the following applies unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • A deposit or full payment is required to confirm the booking date.
  • Cancellations with more than 7 days' notice: full refund.
  • Cancellations with 7 days or less notice: 50% of the agreed fee is payable.
  • If Delta Training cancels, a full refund will be issued.

Session conduct

We want every session to be a positive, comfortable experience for all attendees. Delta Training reserves the right to ask anyone to leave whose behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful to other participants or facilitators. In such cases no refund will be given.

Photography, audio recording, or video recording during sessions is not permitted without prior written permission from Delta Training.

Safeguarding and complaints

Our audience is primarily older adults, and we take our duty of care seriously. Our approach to welfare concerns disclosed in a session, including serious fraud and financial abuse, is set out in our safeguarding policy. If you are worried about someone you know, our “worried about someone” page sets out who to contact and what to say.

If you want to raise a concern or complaint about Delta Training — a session, the facilitator, our communications, or how we handled a safeguarding referral — our complaints procedure explains how to do it and how long we take to respond. By attending a session or booking on our behalf you agree that these procedures govern the handling of any welfare concern or complaint.

Limitation of liability

Session content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Delta Training does not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from actions taken or not taken based on information presented in our sessions.

Our website is provided in good faith. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or completely up to date, and accept no liability for any disruption or errors in the site.

Use of this website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt, access unauthorised areas, or copy content for commercial use without our permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site or attendance at sessions constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
